Rod graduated from Birmingham School of Art & Design and Bourneville College of Art. He is renowned for the raku fish which have become highly popular with ceramic collectors. Skilfully produced, they seem almost alive in their animated poses and are a fine example of the exciting and unpredictable effects and lustrous colours that can be produced using raku.
