Tony Smither is a professional potter making sculptural stoneware birds and animals for house and garden. He uses a variety of manufacturing methods including throwing, coiling, press moulding, extruding and slip casting. Most of his work is oxidised in an electric kiln, but some pieces are reduction fired in a gas kiln. Works with Doreen Gardner.
