Fumed Raku
John studied ceramics while at Wolverhampton Polytechnic, and now specializes in spectacular copper matt glaze on thrown ceramic forms. These are Raku-fired and the resulting pieces have a rich surface quality that richly contrasts with the smoked black clay body.
