Nancy lives and works in Somerset, using red earthenware clay to make decorative and functional pieces – large jugs, platters, bowls and tiles. Pots are largely coated in cream slip before being decorated with under glaze colours in designs influenced by travels in Spain and Italy; capturing the feeling of sunshine and colour found in the architecture and foliage of the Mediterranean. Along side this, another strand of work reflects the landscape of the area she lives on the edge of the Somerset Levels.
