Inspired by nature and the landscapes of Exmoor and the wider south west. Laura works in pen, ink and pencil mainly, to produce intricate drawings and paintings of nature and the local environment. Drawn to capturing light, detail and texture of the landscape, and the organic shapes and individual character of water and trees especially. She is also a qualified art teacher and teaches various classes from her studio in Bampton, Devon.
